    Our Story

    Lindsey and Maddie originally met in 2019 while working on the same residential unit. Lindsey was moving to a different unit while Maddie was training to start. Our careers both took turns and progressed within the ASD field in different locations. Somehow, we both ended back at the same company in 2022 on different residential units and in the same position.

    At the end of 2021, we met again in a supervisors meeting. We began talking in passing and realized we had quite a few things in common. We were both in relationships that were newly ending and bonded over the experience. Over the year we moved from friends, to close friends, and finally to a relationship.

    On April 8th, 2023 Lindsey popped the question on our trip to Las Vegas. She followed up the engagement with a lovely video college from family and friends congratulating us and wishing us well.

    Later in the year we set our wedding date one day after Lindsey's parents' anniversary.
    Unfortunately, we had to legally speed the marriage process along. Due to needing to drop hours at work to make time for an internship in rehabilitation counseling, and a new and unexpected lack of insurance, we decided to have a small celebration for our marriage on paper.
    On January 8th, 2024 Tyler, Lindsey's brother, married us in front of a small group of family and friends at Petti's. Petti's is a family run restaurant in Wickliffe, OH that Lindsey and her family went to often during her childhood. We chose Petti's because of how much Lindsey's grandfather, Pap, enjoyed it there.

    We are so grateful to now have the opportunity to have our big, fun, wedding celebration. We can't wait to have a full ceremony and really celebrate our relationship with all of the people that love and support us.

    Black pants or skirts are perfectly fine, but please avoid black shirts and dresses the same way you would traditionally avoid white clothing.

    While we love your kids, drinking and children do not go hand in hand. To make sure that everyone has a fun and safe night, we please ask to you to keep the reception as an adults-only event.

    Four Points by Sheraton Cleveland-Eastlake

    We want everyone to have a wonderful time, but also a safe night.

    We have obtained a set rate of $139 for the night of the 19th, per room, for guests that want to stay at the Four Points by Sheraton following the reception. To ensure your room is at this rate, please reserve your room by October 4th and mention that you will attending this wedding.

    This hotel will offer a free shuttle for guest to the hotel after the reception.
